Our School Production.
Last term the whole school had a special lady come in to teach us dance for our school’s 60th anniversary. Our special guest was a professional dancer called Zoey. It was a special event for PBS and a great celebration for our school's 60th anniversary. Our class divided into six groups and was sent off to practice at the hall.
We arrived and the first group to learn was the Gangnam Style group. At first they were a bit off with the music but when they kept practising they got more in time. The next 5 groups were Single ladies,Party Rockin,Whip nae nae,Dougie and Harlem Shake. My group the Whip and Nae Nae also needed to be in time with the music and in sync with each other.
After a long time of practice we started practicing on the stage. We got organised in our places and when going on stage and off. When our teachers were impressed with the way we were in sync and in time with the music we added a extra bit for our ending. We did the Harlem Shake,Mexican wave,Punches,Harlem Shake and we then all fall down.
The nights of our productions were coming and our whole school had a practice together. The practice went really well and the next day before the night we had a dress rehearsal. Everyone looked great in there costumes and we were all nervous for the real productions.
The next day it was time to show off our productions. School finished and we went home and ready to have our first production. At 6:00 we all arrived at school and got changed into our clothes as fast as we could and ran to the hall.
The production went really well and most people from school was their too. The whole hall was packed with people and we all were scared. After the show it was time for the last night of the production tomorrow. This was our last production and we have to make it as perfect as possible. The last production was packed again but everyone's dance were in time and was even better than the last production. On our last show the crowd went wild and PBS was really proud on how much they learnt and how much they enjoyed there time for our school’s 60th anniversary.
Today I published my recount on our 60th school production. Out of all songs my favorite was staying alive and preformed by LS2. Our group members checked our work and marked them and then I had to mark mine by my self.
