Kiwi Can
Yesterday at Kiwi Can we talked about the way our tone of voice can affect the way we speak with others or in conversations. When we talk with one another we usually have different tones of voice. Happy tone, sad tone, angry tone, excited tone or a stern tone. It all affects the way we speak and interact with others. The way we communicate with others mainly relies on the way your tone of voice sounds, face expressions and what you talk about. It's kind of like matching things up. For example your very sad and need someone to talk too. Most likely when you talk to someone when you feel sad you will have a sad tone of voice. Although the game we played today was called positives and negative role play. The rules of the game were you would get given a card and on the card you have to act out what it says and you have to find a way to make the negatives a positive. My group's card read : A Rugby / Netball couch is yelling at a child for missing a pass. My group worked together and ended up having a team passing a ball around and the last person failing so the couch yells at him. Although for us to make this positive the rest of our team came up to the teacher and assured the coach that this made him feel very upset and sad so the teacher ended up apologising to the person who missed.

Although today my one wasn't quite finished as it wasn't that straight on the piece of metal. The good thing was that we were able to help others with there project. If you already do not know we are creating either a pizza cutter or a cake server!

E-AKO
Today LS2 had some time to have a maths warm up this morning. We played e-ako as our warm up game and I tried problem solving. I really enjoyed playing the problem solving frog game as it helped me get used to different patterns in different situations. It is my first time playing e-ako, but for my first time I really enjoyed it. We had to predict how many moves were in different situations. We had to move the green frogs over to the brown frogs side and the brown frogs over to the green frogs side. We had to figure out how many of the least moves could get across
