Word webs

Today my L.I is to self monitor our understanding and to identify simple sentences. I also learnt how to know if a sentence is a simple sentence, Compound  or complex.Our teacher Mr Wong told us that every simple sentence has a capital letter and no coma. He told us that a compound sentence has a and, That means two simple sentences are mashed together. He also told  us how to use a word web. We had to put one word in that we understood and wrote other words similar to it.
