This week for current events I have made a google document on summarizing the main ideas from a national article. I have picked out 20 main words, choosing 6 most important words from that 20 and using those 6 words to make a sentence. After that, I came up with 5 sentences and then added exactly 10 syllables to each of those sentences.

New Zealand’s Native Kakapo bird is falling sick because of a Fungal Disease and 7 has unfortunately died.
Currently, one of New Zealand’s native birds (The Kakapo) is falling ill due to a fungal disease that is spreading. This disease has currently killed at least 7 birds in hospital unfortunately. Now, all around New Zealand their is at least 160 of these native birds left. The remaining birds are being fed natural plants but with a dose of medicine to help fight off the fungal disease. People around the country is trying their very best to help.
